    3D printed immediate denture

Asiga Max is the best printer hands down in that price range. I just bought my second one and don't regret a single penny. Sure it would be great if it was 5k, but the thing is open source and has been an absolute pleasure to run.

    3shape Split Bridge

Hello all, We have a dentist who doesn't like the 'reverse' style attachment 3shape defaults on. He wants to switch to metal frameworks with precision attachments that are exposed on the occlusion. Can I do this any way in 3shape? The thought of haven't to buy Stern gold attachments and...

Nobel Sleeves in Canada. 3Shape Implant Studio

Ooh I can half help! if you are planning a nobelparallel case switch it to nobel active and you will have the sleeve options for fully guided. I'm in the same boat. Except I'm not sure if the NT trading sleeves are actually compatible with authentic nobel surgical kit (see my unanswered post)...

    NT trading surgical sleeves

Hello all, I'm just getting into surgical guides using 3shapes godawfulexpensive Implant Studio. Does anyone know if the NT trading surgical sleeves in the 3shape library (SGS 16.SD5.060) for Nobel Biocare implants is made to work with the authentic Nobel Biocare surgical kit? Thanks!

    $50 Diamond Zirconia Burs !

I would totally reorder them as they worked well, but the .6mm burr has a taper unlike the rest and likes to collide with the walls of the crown. The Argen .6mm burr is longer like the rest. If you had a .6mm burr with a longer taper I'd buy them from you!

PMMA vs Processed Acrylic Provisional - Longevity

The only thing to consider for large cases is that the dentist will not be able to add composite to PMMA if they need to.

3d printed model on fully adjustable articulator

Hmm I thought so. Kois has this digital transfer adapter that takes up the space. I believe it only works with exocad right now? Has anyone found a way to get stl files of the articulator interface to install into 3shape? I know I can print the models and use stone to mount, but this dentist...

3d printed model on fully adjustable articulator

Hey everyone, what are you doing to get slick 3d printed models that have some sort of adapter to be mounted on a fully adjustable articulator? The dentist wants one for Panadent/Kois but 3shape model builder doesn't have the DME for it. Any other options?

If you had one implant planning software what would it be?

I think I'm going to stick with 3shape. With all the kits it makes me feel way more confident. Though man, has anyone really thought of the whole business model? 7k software. $400/kg resin. 14k printer (okay I use it for models everyday too). Click fee. Sleeve fee. Setting up a consult...

If you had one implant planning software what would it be?

Man, I was just playing around with 3shape implant studio. Super slick and it seems to have a lot of implant systems. Any big downsides to sticking with 3shape? (I am fully hooked on the 3shape crack)

If you had one implant planning software what would it be?

I think I may wait until exoplan before I decide. Should be coming out in Canada with a week or two I hear.

If you had one implant planning software what would it be?

Hey 2thm8kr, I've followed a lot of your posts. If this is the one you use, I'll take it seriously. Thanks! at $3500 US its an easier pill to swallow than the 3shape one.

If you had one implant planning software what would it be?

Hello, I've been dragging my feet for way too long on producing surgical guides. I can an Asiga Max and the resin to make the guide, but I don't have software. I've looked a blue sky bio and done some training on it, but I don't like how there aren't any presets for different implant systems...

    Itero stl's with 3 shape?

You can call each case and ask for them to resend it to you unditched. For whatever reason though my model builder doesn't have a problem with the hole around the die. It just fills it in. I do a few a day with no issues. I just select select the 3shape export. You can also try using the...

    I got a thing

I was so on the fence when buying my asiga that I should wait for the 5100. Looks like I made the right choice. The Asiga has been a dream to work with. Bryce Hiller leaned me in the direction and he was totally right. I get almost zero misprints and the accuracy is beautiful.

    Recommendations for good 3dPrinter

Asiga max, hands down. I used a form 2 for a while, did a few hundred cases. But expect your dies to never fit properly, and your interproximals to be hit or miss. It's a good printer for the price, but it's not dental quality. I LOVE my asiga. It does cost money though...

    Radiographic Guides

That sounds exactly what I was thinking! Mixing some barium sulphate into 3d printer resin. But I don't see your guide in the post

looking for 3d-printer for printing models

I would totally forget about a removable die. I chased that forever and was never satisfied. You really don't need it anyways and all it does is introduce inaccuracies. Solids and 2 seperate dies for me on my formlabs.
