I think this site should answer most of your concerns.

I don’t think the location of your business is a concern of the state as much as it would be for the county or an HOA. The state of Florida just wants to make sure you meet all the...
I’m pretty sure the doc has to enter the info regarding which manufacturer he is using on his end prior to scanning. When the lab receives the case in lab review from Itero, it will tell you which implant company and the platform size used.
As far as I know, Straumann is the only vendor that...
Hey User,
From what I remember (which isn’t much anymore),the implant workflow through Itero is dependent on which manufacturer’s scan body the doctor scanned In the mouth. If he scanned a Straumann, then you have to use that workflow. If he scanned an Atlantis, then you have use that...
Hi Jason,
I think I would offer a few different options for a service like this. I would probably do something of a tiered pricing based on turnaround time. After all, FedEx and UPS do this.
Next day: $$$
2nd day: $$
3rd day+: $
You would definitely want the “Next Day” price to give...
Let’s just agree that we should all maintain good oral hygiene just to be safe :
"Our identification of gingipain antigens in the brains of individuals with AD and also with AD pathology but no diagnosis of dementia argues that brain infection with P. gingivalis is not a result of poor dental...
Could’ve been a lot of things. Did GP or Oral surgeon place it? Seems like everybody is an implant specialist these days. Maybe site was overheated with drill during placement. Who knows and who would confess? Maybe nobody’s fault. Poor bone density or autoimmune response. Patient should get...
I'm retiring and I'm ready to sell this stuff. I would like to sell as a package if possible. If that doesn't happen, then I will sell items individually. Equipment is in great shape and would be perfect for a startup situation. Lots of consumables, etc. PM me if interested in package...
I really don’t understand your logic here. There is no reason to use non engaging abutments. You can design the abutments to be paralleI and achieve a passive fit with the bridge eliminating worries about broken screws.
Engaging abutments will provide a more secure abutment. Reason being is...
IO scans have increased productivity tremendously for me while also reducing labor and even material costs (albeit a slight amount). I certainly don’t reduce the cost of my product just because I benefited from the process. That’s just smart business.
There is no way I could do the volume...
I would try one of these 2 things before rescanning:
1. Recompute...if it's a pontic, try a different design such as ridge-lap or modified ridge-lap
2. Pre-position anatomy of the affected teeth
Guys, guys, the object of doing implants is to avoid prepping virgin teeth...plus make more money. ;) Looking at this guy's bite and how far those lowers protrude, he would have probably have needed to double abut a bridge on both sides. Maybe not the most hygenic case, but possibly the best option.
