Increase in production between Roland 51D and 52DC?

Hey all, It’s been awhile. Definitely enjoying retirement life. My dog, Eli passed and we just got a puppy. Bigger challenge than I than I was expecting. To make a Long story short, for most consistent emax results as of last December I would suggest pressing. The nature of the emax blue block...

    Sintering Zirconia Q&A

You can stand it up directly on the insulation table. No need for a tray.

    Sintering Zirconia Q&A

If you have a sintering block with a flat bottom milled as part of the file you can also sinter the arch standing up, vertically.

    Sintering Zirconia Q&A

You will need a furnace with a larger muffle such as MihmVogt or Dekema. If you outsource the sintering you should also look for someone that simters large hybrids using the same zirconia.

Increase in production between Roland 51D and 52DC?

Hey all, I’m no longer employed by HS. So this is an absolute non-bias opinion. The Roland mill changed Dental texhnology forever. The mill is built with everything needed to mill most dry materials. It is very dependable, and very accurately. We had milled hundreds of full arch zirconia cases...

    sintering oven problems

I'm not sure if the heating elements are wired in series or parallel in your oven. If they are wired in series it's possible one element is gone and you are sintering with one (or more) defective elements. If wired in Parallel and one is broken you will get NO heat. I would check to make sure...

Increase in production between Roland 51D and 52DC?

This will depend on your specific needs. If you want to run a mill through the night and weekends the 52DC will do it. If you need all your stuff out of mills by day end, you may be better off getting two mills no changer. The price point of the two options is very close. I also think that two...

    Sintra issue/problem

Hi Rob, This is a new problem we have now seen a couple of times. We have discussed with Shenpaz and have a fix that we are performing. To repair it you will need to send it to CAP and we will be happy to do the repair. If you like Scott's furnace you will have a backup for a reasonable price...

    Wieland Mini Mill

It's good you are thinking but you're not on the right thought process. Don't worry about the spindle as it relates to connectors. The spindle life will be related to hours of use. The best place to spue in on the equator or widest part of the restoration. I would stay away from proximal contact...

    Programat s1 sintering

Check the high temp. Many of the new materials require 1550 and I think the P1 may not get there. If not, I think it's a deal breaker as it will eliminate many zirconia choices. We should only but furnaces that go to 1560 or higher.

Anyone attending the Dentsply Dallas Symposium at Cedarhill?

I think rather than attending this Avident meeting we should meet in Baltimore for the IDT meeting in October for the digital dentures. We can see Avident there as well as many other different solutions.

    Cerec SpeedFire

I think you are on the right on the edge as to going with a pre-shaded vs. white with colorants. I would probably suggest Amann Girrback multi FX for the 600 MPa material for interiors. This product is really beautiful, you get two shades form each disc and it can be speed fires. For posteriors...
