So I am running into this very annoying problem with ExoCAD where a number of the options available after right clicking on active units are no longer available after a case has been closed and re-opened with scene file. Recently, I have been having an employee do case entry and scanning for me...
We purchased our system when they originally released it with DentalFlings. The mill experienced some serious problems in the beginning. Lots of crashing, broken tools, chipped margins, poor calibration, etc. After several trips back and forth to Connecticut, they discovered that the wire...
It's all good. I did get it downloaded, unfortunately it looks like it is only the program run function and a few .dll files. Don't have all the necessary registry values to get it to run without the installer. Did a little searching and it looks like I could import the registry values if...
Hey Scott,
I finally got a break to mess with this and got this error from Filezilla:
Command: USER dentallabnetwork

Command: PASS ************
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error

Have you changed...
Scott,
Haven't been on here in a few weeks while I was flooded with work and exams, just saw this. Big thanks for the download! As soon as I finish up some stuff today, will download, install and get to work on my .stl files.

I am going to have to look at this. Have just been getting started on the Exo and we are pretty busy so I am still doing most of my work on 3shape. When I browsed the file directories, I did find that some of the arch scans/die scans were regular .stl but that the restorations were saving in...
So I have the simplest module available in their CAD package, so I cannot speak to the soft tissue design. Are you talking about for removable design? The whole package is very good, would recommend it for sure. The mill imports regular .stl and is very dependable/accurate. Have had this...
So it was my understanding that the software was just going to be wide open, but after doing a little digging into my file order, most of my production files are in a .jensenSTL format. HMM.... :banghead: Going to have to ask them about this, as I was never informed about a dongle fee for...
This discussion is AWESOME. Here is my contribution. If anyone can convert these to .eoff's for me, I would be SO grateful! I do not have the ExoCAD software for making the library on my computer :(https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7ua93tklaj006ns/UK7RaeYxen...
We got ours off Craigslist for $300. It is an ADP (Apollo Dental Products) dental office compressor with two separate oiled compressors. The thing is build like a tank, took three guys to lift it up into our Uhaul. Each compressor is mounted to the chassis with four large springs to keep...
So Jensen finally got me rolling with the Preciso software package for our Lava ST scanner and VHF mill and I successfully scanned, designed and milled two crowns on it yesterday/last night, figured I would throw in my first impressions. Especially since I think I gave Jensen a little heat on...
Gotcha, makes sense. I know they make diamond coated tools as well, I wonder if this would insulate the current through the tool to the reference table? Interesting. Well I wish you the best of luck, maybe try some different tools? Cardinal Dental supply gives us a great deal on tools.

Hey guys, I know there has been some discussion on here about the Formlabs 3D printer. I am working with someone right now who has one and has printed me a few examples, waiting to get them in the mail to see how they fit. Thought I would share pics though! Looks promising. Some are printed...
So we had major problems with our VHF mill for the first month or so that we owned it, in fact, we had a loaner mill for a whole month while it was back for service/repair. Initially, there was a lot of tool crashing and initialization trouble. Went through the re-milling of the calibration...
So I never got the wax-up scan feature to work very well but I would think that if you scanned your pre-op model as a wax-up and then scanned the operative arch and did the 3-point alignment, you would accomplish the same thing. I haven't tried it but it should work in theory?
Good luck mate!
