I still dont get the financial sense of this... for me as a dentist it makes really no sense. To take digital impressions and use cad/cam is smart, but to waste your valuable time on lab tech work with a worsd result seems insane... what am I missing here...
This is so true. When you capture a full arch bridge (even tooth supported),and you have a lot of edentulous spaces, it is very difficult for the machine to get everything right.

I am thinking about starting with astra ev. However, there seems to be no available Sirona TiBase for the EV Profile (angulated) implants. Nor are there any multi unit abutment - copies (like 2-connect, we use it now) for the Profile-implants. What to do? How to restore? Or just skip it...
Ok this is my suggestion:
ask the dentist which implant system and implant type it is (if he knows it...). Buy a cheap copy of that implant. Place the implant in the impression (like an analog),and pour the model. Then work on that. Of course charge the dentist double what you paid for it...
