    I been using an alginate mixing machine for 3months now and I would never go back to hand mixing. yes the alginate does go off a lot quicker but if you lower the water temperature on hot day it's still fine. It also is fantastic when you have a patient that is inclined to gag.

    I don't Know of any other systems that is cheaper that will do all the things that you have outlined in earlier post you can even press Moloplast B which gives it a more denser consistence and is less porous
