We have been using 3shape Orthoanalyzer with all the add on Modules do the last few years and now we’ve been told by our reseller that we have to pay for additional Cad points.
This seems crazy and will greatly increase cost of using the software.
I wonder what is the advantage of paying...

I’d like to laser etch our aligners so that the patient can tell which aligner is which if they mix the bags up etc
Does anyone know a low cost way of laser etching a number on to the finished aligner to keep track of them?

A lot of my clients are located across county.
I think the detail you get pouring into Alginate imps is far superior then silicone. I find silicone smooths detail.
I usually warn the dr's to put Alginate imps in wet tissues before posting and I haven't really had problems for wire...

I've recently been getting loads of full study model cases that require high shine soaping from a new clinic.
I'm currently using Dentaurum Model gloss but it's expensive and doesn't last very long.
I tried watering it down a bit but totally lost the quality of the high shine...
I usually use Henry Schein material for retainers. I'm looking at making aligners and there seems to be a lot of different types out there with big price differences.
Just wondering what you guys think is the best for function and price.
