Synology are great. You can set them up on your internal active directory so file access is simple and secure for internal users. You can also easily set up auto backup of selected folders.
I have not found it to be 10 times cheaper. I have been looking into this solution for 3+ years. The cost to process part is about 80 per bar including heat treatment for example. Then the cost/time to set up, cam, mill would be another 50ish. We can mill a bar with less issues for the same...
That has its own issue with LCD masking. The resin has to be sensitive enough to cure under lower light energy so you end up with bleeding. The prints never look sharp...Then you still get dimensional shrinkage. It's not the silver bullet.
It's machine specific. you can open sum3d if you have the licence by pressing alt+enter then typing in cam, You can then go through the milling steps and find the one that uses that tool then check the exact tool specs
I would bump up to the 350i pro if possible.
250i is a bit to small in my opionion.
We have 2 350i and they have been great.
wouldn't go near ZZ
Both furnace companies are good.
we have a silent compact CAM. It's also very good.
Nice work! Side note: This could be a GPU driver issue. I have had stuff like this on the lab Trios running on a laptop with old drivers. Might be worth double checking they're up to date.
The ROI on the mills are not great doing dentures...even running 24/7. The ROI on printers is better but the materials are not great. IMO some get great results..some get really average results. Until it is as good or better than the current situation i don't see a reason to shift.
We have been beta testing DS 2019 which gives you a step to scan a stone die and merge it with the scanned impression.
Model builder does some weird stuff but its working well about 60 percent of the time every time.
If the surface isn't opened (sandblasted and monomer brushed) up you will see delamination...then it traps food....Then it stinks.
This is with Graphenano. Teeth are all 1 piece.
yes.
follow my lab page. https://www.facebook.com/omnidentalAU/ going to link a video this weekend. ill link here if I get a chance. I'm not all over the FDA restrictions but ill show how to do it without the restrictions.
Printing dies and models and expecting the same shrinkage on both is not a good expectation to have. The bigger the parts get the more they shrink. Unfortunately it's a matter of scaling depending on model vs die. The best solution would probably be to print a tray of dies with no scaling then a...
I have heard that the 3rd party resins have not been tested sufficiently. Let me be clear...Whipmix is killing it with these. That's why i said our side of the world. (Australia)
No i don't have one, but i would buy one if i didn't think there were better options out there. I have had an Asiga...
