Thank you for your replies. I think the price difference from 3.5k is not that big compared to the recommended retail price. But do you think there is any disadvantage of the D1000 or is it overall better even for impression scanning? My reseller could not really help with these questions.

What scanner did you buy @JohnWilson? Are there even differences in the module prices? I have to buy abutment designer + implant bar and bridge designer, modelbuilder STL and second seat license. I thought that the prices are made by 3Shape.
