Thank you for your replies.
I think the price difference from 3.5k is not that big compared to the recommended retail price.
But do you think there is any disadvantage of the D1000 or is it overall better even for impression scanning? My reseller could not really help with these questions.
Hello DLN members,
I was taking a look at these scanners at IDS and I am not sure what scanner will be the better deal for me. I am planning to use the new scanner for about 5 years and I am doing everything with it.
price
3Shape D1000
19k (30k - 7,5k TradeUp - 3,5k modules included)
3Shape...
Ok thank you for the information because I always thought the license fee & module prices is everywhere exactly the same.
Hm it is a hard decision. But I do not understand why it is not possible to scan cross mounted models with the other scanners? Aren't the scanners nearly the same? I...
Thank you @JohnWilson. I wanted to buy 3Shape's D1000 but I do not know anymore because the new E3 is nice too...what do you think? Is it possible to get a discount if I buy all these modules together? What modules do you have?
What scanner did you buy @JohnWilson? Are there even differences in the module prices? I have to buy abutment designer + implant bar and bridge designer, modelbuilder STL and second seat license. I thought that the prices are made by 3Shape.
I want to thank you for your support! Cheers
Today I installed the server - client setup and everything works just fine. I tried to import some old cases with ctrl+i and even this works very well. So there is no need to import every case because I just want to have the opportunity to import...
I don't understand your reason why a NAS device is not a good idea? I just save the folder "3Shape" and "3Shape/ManufacturingDir" at my NAS which is running RAID1 with another 6hour-backup and one weekly backup stored at another place. It's all gigabit-lan and should be fast enough for working...
Thank you so much! I just want to have the opportunity to import some cases when I need them. For example if I have to mill a broken crown/bridge again. PC should arrive tomorrow...so I know what I have to do at the weekend :D
Thank you for your replies Bird
I want to do it myself because it is easier to manage the systems after that for me.
But I have got an additional question: Is it possible to import and edit old cases if I do a fresh reinstall of 3Shape? Just with the data NAS/3Shape and...
Hey guys,
I have got a question regarding a 3Shape network install.
At the moment we are using a HP 8300 SFF as Standalone PC and the 3Shape cases are stored on a NAS with Raid1.
We are now buying a new PC (i7 6700k, Geforce GTX 970, 32GB memory, SSD,...) and I want to reinstall everything...
We are using Zenostar T too since a few month and it is great for layering but we have problems with FCZ. I am exactly following the manual but the colors after infiltrating and sintering are not like the VITA A-D colors.
We are using Zenostar T precolored blanks with Zenostar colors. After...
One of our customers uses a Sirona Cerec AC with Bluecam. He wants us to import the intraoralscans to build models and design the crowns/bridges. We use a 3Shape with the latest software.
Sirona said that we have to buy inLab to import the scans, export them as .stl and import them to 3Shape...
Thanks Car54! Hmm I can understand that Katana ML is not designed for layering. But what is about Sagemax NexxZR T/S in combination with e.max Ceram? I cannot believe that this is not possible and approved.
I have got a question regarding cerec intraoralscan import.
We have got an customer (dentist) with Sironas cerec bluecam. Sirona said that I have to buy inLab (~6000$) to import the cerec file and export as stl so that I can import it to 3Shape. Is that true or is there a workaround?
I am using the IPS e.max Ceram porcelain for zirconia frames.
Just found something interesting (instructions for use):
"Characterization and veneering of frameworks, implantabutments and implant superstructures made of– sintered zirconium oxide and/or HIP zirconium oxide, as well as –...
I have got an additional question. We are planning to buy the 350i as well and I don't know if I have to buy v5 (Sum3D) or v4.6. What experiences do you have with Sum3D? Do you think it's worth about 9k? Is it easy to handle?
Thanks for your fast replies! Unfortunately I am from Europe o_O I thought that Sagemax is a big deal over there because it is the biggest manufacturer. There are so many different Zirconia reseller and I don't know what is the best choice.
The incisal mixture movie is cool, I have to try that...
Hey,
we are starting to mill Zirconia soon (imes-icore mill) and I am looking for a good quality blank and color liquids. The quality and consistency is more important than the price.
1) What do you think of Sagemax? I have read a lot about the company here.
Do you have experiences with...
Thank you!
But we don't have more than 20 zirkonia units a day, so I think the size is good. But I don't know if there are other disadvantages compared to the Mihm-Vogt HT & HT-S. Wieland and Jensen mills are from VHF as well, right? Also I don't know if iCAM V4.6 is good enough or if I have...
