Why would you charge less?
The materials are more expensive in 3d Printing.
A box of stone compared to model resin... there is no comparison on price.
Same with the surgical guides. Thermoform material is way less expensive then the 1 kg bottle of resin.
Why would you give a break just...
What is he going to open the vertical to? Is just picking a random number?
At least they are thinking about a splint, instead or prepped already and telling you to open the bite.
You need to get the patient in an orthotic or some sort of splint therapy and have them wear it for an extended...
This is just my experience but I find that if you print models with the iTero articulator and place them flat on the build platform.
You will have a tough time getting it to mount into the holes on the metal articulator and it wont be at the correct height for the articulator.
I find this was...
Thanks for the explanation Luke.
It drives me a bit crazy that people think that whatever they seen on screen can be manufactured.
Or that what they see on screen hasn't been rendered and "fixed". Looking at you IO scans.
Sure your scanner is better or more accurate.
It's usually just the...
But...but... Something something. 3 point alignment.
No point trying to save a dollar or two.. you are better off ordering the analogs and ask the Doc to give them back to you after they are done with the model. Usually they just throw them out in the trash.
Color doesn't help if the scan data is bad.
It's just color on top of a inaccurate scan. Move the points up or down it's still the same.
I find looking from the underside of the prep to be helpful sometimes.
Can anyone tell me if they experience that their designs are way over contoured.
I thought it was maybe just myself and the designs I do. I even outsourced a few cases and found it was even worse.
It's as if 3shape doesn't display the actual field of view properly. I have found I have better...
Good to know that ITERO maybe they changed but it was a tier system to get involved with a 1 time fee and then they would charge you to export scans if you wanted to print the models yourself.
Yeah, if you have 3shape you can get a communicate inbox but if you don't use 3shape you have to pay...
$25 per arch.
It's not our fault that 3d Printed models cost more that the traditional stone model.
Sorry but you bought the IO scanner and some more costs come associated with it doing it digital.
Download Medit link software. It's pretty amazing for being free.
You can actually edit scans and make models and night guards pretty easily if you have some experience in CAD it should be pretty easy for you to familiarize yourself with the software.
Phrozen Printers are relatively...
