Is anybody using the Anaxdent Composite injection system for their full arch hybrids? The wear rate is supposed to be better than the composite filled denture teeth. The technique has a lot going for it in terms of esthetics, ease of use, ease of characterization, ease of repair if needed. Only slightly more difficult than acrylic and denture teeth wrapped on a bar.

I'm just wondering why it never really caught on. Is it one of those things that seemed like a good idea and then got abandoned after clinical failures? Or did it just never get the marketing hype of some of the flashier products?

We do a lot with the anaxdent system. Very good product, and the clients have all been happy with the products. Composite gets a bad rep in the lab, but the docs use composite day to day, and they love the material; it's something that they know well.

Overall, its a great product with a great workflow once you know what youre doing.

Any long term issues? Staining, breakage, etc...? What are you using for the underlying frameworks? Chrome cobalt, Ti, Glazed Zirc, Pekkton?

I use zr, ti and pekk. TI needs to be treated, and opaqued. PeKK is finicky to bond to. No big issues with the anax gums other than some staining here and there. These patients all lost their teeth for a reason.
