That's funny, I've been thinking about going to his concert soon... and was on a Sting kick a couple months ago. He's pretty dang good- seems like an awesome guy, too.

To me it sounds like waiting room jazz. Which is a perfect dental theme. They're making you wait to make it up as they go.
