I think its time to buy a new waxer, I want one that holds a steady temp. I like to do the additive technique for my emaxes and gold crowns.
I would like to get one with 2 waxing instruments.
What does everyone like?

I use 2 Almore mini waxers with Kerr Lab waxing tips

Have had the same ones for 15+ years zero issues.

i like Kerr Ultra Waxer. the quick heat and 4 programmable settings are great. they even added a newer model that can hold 2 waxing pencils at a time (if you are in that big of a need for them....though i see no need with the quick heat function)
plus the variation of tips and the quality are key to me. let us know what you decide on!

I bought the Renfert Waxlectric II 5 months ago and really it. The whipmix waxer looks like the same casing as the cheap $60 ones on eBay. My concern with the whipmix is that it might be the same cheap unit with their logo slapped on and a $300 mark-up. So, I went with Renfert.

I also use Renferts Waxelectric 11 for some years, don't buy it.. Good unit, but the small and medium tips bend,,,, especially the small one. The small tip is a needle tip..
Whip Mix will be my next one to buy, or the Kerr that I have always bought in the past.

Renfert waxelectricII here. Works great. I also find the tips are a bit soft but I think the metal they use for the tips transfers heat better than others I've used. As long as I don't drop it I'm good. I have had to replace two wands/cords over the years as the internal wires break over time. I had the same problem with other brands also.
Still the best unit I've ever used. I haven't used a flame for waxing in nine years.

I liked my renfert with the 2 waxing tips. Gave it to my father when I stopped waxing.
