Hi all, if manufacture recommends to use a slower sintering program for bridges
over 5 units and I'm sintering 12 single crowns should I use the same slow
program?
Thank you.

You don't need to.
Thanks for your reply. I'm new to sintering. Is that because there are no pontics? And how many single units you would sinter before you use a slower program (or longer holding time at final temp)?. Thank you

Zirconia has an affinity to hold onto heat. Single units will expand and contract without much need for long sintering cycles. Bridges need to get complete heat penetration and also need to cool more slowly to reduce the chance of having a fracture occur.

As I know, Zirconia has low CTE, it needs enough time for heat conducting and partical transformation.

Thanks. In case you sinter some single units together with a bridge using a slow cycle what can happen to the crowns?
