Crowns are reasonably priced out here. My dentist offered porcelain, but I am insisting on full cast metal because I had a PFM crown break in the past.
Location is Outer Mongolia?

Obviously, you are not associated with any part of the dental industry. Besides, in my opinion, trying to "bargain" shop around for a crown to be done, what are you doing on this forum?

I am learning as much as possible about crowns before I get a crown prep.

You live in a region with some of the highest dental costs in the Country, and you found a Dentist offering last centuries antiquated technology. Do you have nickle/chrome, chrome /cobalt, chrome/molybdenum in your mouth?
Id find a Dentist that doesnt need basement prices to get customers, and one who understands and uses current state of the art materials.

If the crown is costing you $600, how much do you think your dentist is spending on your crown?
