So, i have this dilema. The Dr. wants a full contour crown for #5 and a screw retained full zirconia implant crown for #4!
But look at the angle on that #4!
What to do what to do!?

make custom abutment. design w acces hole open. allow dr to cement in mouth and deliver #5 after. Make sure to design abutment margins hygenic in case he loses some cement in sulcus

well tried and failed. parameters for thickness on the mesial of abutment make it hit the contact of designed # 5 crown too hard. In other words, the distal contact of #5 hits the #4 crown and abutment.
Splint them? 32372 32373

never splint implant with natural root.

best idea will be to forego custom zirc abut, in lieu of either custom ti, or screw retained crown on a different shorter ti base.

If you showed the dentist the image showing minimal crown thickness would they be open to reducing if it wouldn't throw the pt into pulpitis?

Great!, now he has to find and dust off the casting well and torch. Lol

Back at you with a lol on that one, CRob. And then only to find out the slow leak of the oxygen tank is now empty and in need of being refilled.

Definitely needs to be a Ti abutment to allow for narrow profile interproximally
