Carmina Burana. Most of you will recognize the first few minutes of it. But since those that speak Old High German and Latin are rare, this version has subtitles.
A fair warning, if you have children who can read more than you want to explain, don't let them watch.

"Don't Chew. Forget about me."

Sounds like a few we've all met.

Choose your own adventure:
The Bruce(who wrote it):

Patti Smith showing what diction can do

Natalie Merchant with 9,999 Maniacs making MTV unplugged a very wired event.

Screamin Females' Marissa giving the gritty guitar workout solo with Garbage's lead, Shirley, showing what diction and tone control should do.

Up Tempo dance club chaos pad, autotune, and drum machine

.... well thanks a lot Doris.....I just misplaced an hour of work watching him on YouTube..
If you ever get the chance to see him live, do it. We've seen him twice and it was AMAZING!

Some piano to ease into evening?
In my opinion these are the best 5 Steven Cravis ever penned, sorry to give you the best and have you feel let down on the rest.
Good news is I've not listened to anything newer than around 2012, so if you like his stuff, there's bound to be more high ground.

@ps2thtec, yea I know it's mono monday. Felt like 5 of them ganged up on me, so ...

Polka, pirate, English sea, and a bit of 20 or thirty other genres.

Like a clarion call to end the segregation of our music, I present to you:

Edit: or maybe you can put a heavy bass backbeat down on just about anything and we need to totally segregate the bass beaters. Uh, nothing to do with fish. If you're wanting cubed bass, go for it.

Choose your own adventure.

The original. Building the tension, ratcheting through the intro till like a scream while torn from sleep the idea, the terror in the lyrics, bursts through as if it can no longer be held.

Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails cover. The one most known now from being in The Crow in the 90s. Totally different style. More like a tearful acceptance than a wish for release.
