How do I remove the chat bubble from the bottom of my screen?

It is not good how busy the screen has become

Open the chat room, click on the tool icon, a window will open, near the bottom of the list is “disable chat”, click on that. Done.

Im not a fan of chat either, and I dont like change, but it was necessary. We have to adapt. Travis has worked more than any of us know to provide this valuable tool for us all...free of charge to you.
