Does not require a computer to run the machine as it has a built in high-speed control. CAM software is required but not included in the price.

Currently there is a choice of 2 CAM software solutions (Delcam and hyperDENT).

We hope to be announcing a 3rd (and very good) option at LabDay.

Come by our booth and check it out!

hello affinity,
i am a one man lab too, 2 months ago bought the second-hand motion 1, I think it's a great machine
what kind of work you're doing with the machine?
have you managed to get 98 holder
I saw that holder on old machines

Its a great mill, I use it for zirconia and wax. Theres no chance of getting a 98mm for it. Sagemax makes a great d shaped zirconia though. AG white wax also works well, just mind a longer burnout.

We now have a 3rd option for versamill CAM and it is our own cameoNC product.

The machining strategies and toolpath calculation algorithms are pretty much on par with DentMILL but our cameoNC automatic 5-axis (3+2 and simultaneous) can't be beat. Check it out:

DOWNLOAD the Data Sheet

BTW, there are now eight versamill 5XS machines in production at various National Dentex labs and they are loving how fast they are getting the highest quality restorations they have seen straight of the mill.

We've been replacing many of the machines mentioned on this forum because of this, including Argen who now has over 60 of our machines in production.

Here are some EXAMPLES from an post made earlier on this forum re: maiden voyage of the versamill 5XS .

You can mill them as thick or thin as you want. Just set up the minimal thickness. Where are you located in Europe?

I am located in Croatia.
This forum helped me a lot in business
Now I am registered
I followed your posts
because you have Ceramill
and you helped me a lot
Now I have a better master Ceramill software to increase productivity
I'm not satisfied with the map 300 scanner because it is very slow but precision is fine.
This month buy sinter furnace and starting with zirconia

I am located in Croatia.

Hej MarkoLab, Kako si?
Ja sam hrvatski!
Moja baka i djed su iz Perušića. Tamo, au Zagrebu imam mnogo rođaka i tete.
Gdje u Hrvatskoj živite?
I plan on visiting my family later this year just after IDS.
Maybe we can meet and discuss dental CAD/CAM over coffee or even some domaća rakija!
nadam se da si dobro. Lupi Petama!

I am actually from Michigan. Both of my grandparents are from Perušić. They came to the USA in the early 1900's

We are about 90 km northeast of Plitvička (which I have visited twice since finding my family in 2012) and I think about 200km Northeast of Zadar.
Zadar, oh yes beautiful Dalmatia. I think I should make my way to the sea to visit. ;)Beer

We are actually not a lab. My company sells and supports "digital" dental products such as: dental CAD/CAM software, scanners, CNC millling machines (versamill),materials (we also have an industrial arm of the company),etc. my websites are: www.axsysdental.com and www.axsysinc.com

I will give you a shout when my travel plans are completed.

Zivjeli!

If you are in the market for a full 5-axis Dental Machining Center, I pretty sure you can't do any better than this.

We've run comparative tests on these guys and are the clear winner. Winner in: construction, weight, spindle power, vibration/heat absorption, reliability, operating costs etc.

Also winner in quality of final restoration. Including: lowest do-over rate, smoothest margins, size of margin reinforcement, surface finish and more.

Just ask our many customers who have made the switch, including the likes of Argen, the many labs of National Dentex and Dentsply.

This special includes: Vesamill 5XS full 5-axis Machining Center, CAM, Training, Material, Tooling and Machine Control and our outstanding support team...all for under $30,000!

You got to at least check into it....right?
