I'd stick with composite to be safe. It's actually better to have a visible indicator of where the screw channel is than a perfect blend.

I had a dr tell me that its hard to tell when the crown ends and the prep starts when you match it perfectly.

How difficult is it for the doc to fill a hole with composite, that he actually needs his technician to design a plug... Can he tie his shoes or does he only use Velcro?

He'd never be able to retrieve the screw if he uses a zir plug.
