It's that question of do I or don't I?

I was planning to update the 3shape DS software and the scanning software was also going to be updated.

I got an email this morning saying there was a global issue that was with the scanning software update. Then got another saying it's solved.

I had decided to update but now I'm a bit jittery......PTSD from all those bad windows updates over the years that screw your system!!

What would you do?

What version are you running currently?

I wouldn't update specifically on Monday morning no matter what :) If you do it, do it Friday night, test extensively, if it won't work, you have time to roll back.

I was just going through the same thought process as the op. We're still running 2014. It's been stable and all my implant systems work etc... I was going to start looking at upgrading this week and then the worldwide outage happened. Not to us though.

Buy a new PC and put the upgrade on that, keep the existing 2014 were its at. This way you don't loose. On my desk I got 2016.3 and 2014 2.9.9.5 but haven't had to use it for a while since 2016.1.
