From my preliminary ready the surface condition of the material and the oxidation that is on the Ti will determine how the uniform the color will be.

The biggest thing for consistency has to do with the current and how accurate you power supply is to give specific voltage, this is just info from one blog I read last night.

I have made a few calls as well Mark, I am working on a few ideas now.
I have enjoined the reading I have done so far on this topic.

See mom the INTERNET is more than just a glorified nudie magazine.

Thanks for those who shared their experience. Trust Mark to
take the trouble to research the latest on the market. I still wonder
how the process affect the reflected wavelength to make it look
pink consistently, and how it would actually help AFTER acrylic
is processed on it. I use Sebond with their pink and it hides and
bond quite predictably.
Still wonder if someone compared the accuracy of the fit on the
model of Cagenix versus Nobel, and 3i.

90% of our implant bars are still laser-assembled. There isn't much finishing. We polish the old fashioned way, tripoli and rouge, and they hold a shine very well.

I have noticed that CP titanium doesn't hold a shine very well, I'm assuming because it is softer then Ti alloy. I don't know for sure.

The fit of the above mentioned milling bar companies is good. Just depends on what you are looking for. I only use a milled bar on certain cases, otherwise I laser assemble them. The fit of a laser assembled bar is just as good as a milled bar. Most of the time, the manufactures components ( bar post or cylinders ) are available in Titanium. As for anodizing, we'll see...
