Sprueing a UCLA abutment

Has anyone tried to sprue a UCLA abutment this way? This came from Straumann’s procedure manual.

Except who casts just one unit at a time?

That is how I cast them, except I use a direct reservoir sprue rather than just using rope wax. Usually it's a 10ga. sprue. If I have a number of them, I still use individual sprues rather than putting them on a bar.

That's spruing for a pressure casting machine I sprue one at a time if I only have one to do!! Anyhoo just use Atlantis !

Have only seen this for sprueing instructions. and sorry couldn't get the picture rotated , so lay on your side to obtain the proper perspective, or rotate your computer screen!

You were right...it looks better when I lay on my side but it's tough keeping my eyes open.

Did anyone else hear Atlantis was just bought by Dentsply? Makes me think twice about sending them my work.
