Can anyone compare the Roland DWX-4 with the wieland mini?
Price?
Quality?
Speed?
I am looking to purchase a small dental mill.

Thanks,
Hi, I really can't compare but I can fill you in on Roland. Unfortunately i do not have a VHF mill. We run six of them day and night. Also, have a few loaners. Here are some of what I see as the benefits of the Roland.
2 year warranty
Spindle has a 2000 hour warranty. Our oldest spindle now has about 5800 hours (and running great) on it. We have another with over 4000.
Simple to operate and keep calibrated. The mill self calibrates.
Mills a high def anatomic detail FZ in 20 minutes.
Uses a 0.3 mm tool for anatomy
Mills wax, PMMA, Zirconia and Lava Ultimate, all very accurately
Cost about $30K plus CAM. This includes training and support.
If you want more info you can call sales at 877-977-7889 or go to http://cap-us.com/products/roland-dwx-50/

thanks Bob for the info...but i was looking to purchase a mini mill ( dwx-4) not the dwx-50.
It seems like there isnt a mini mill under 20k.
anything over is a waste of money for me seeing how i don't have that many zirconia cases and i am looking to use it mainly for wax mill.
is there any other mill i can purchase that fits best for my needs?
How are smaller labs supposed to compete in the digital world if they cant even afford to purchase these things?

P.S. i always appreciate your comments and views.

[/ Quote]
Has any one checked MDX 40A from Roland. You might laugh but we have 7 of them running successfully for more than an year. Needs Delcam to run these. Min 40 units a day.
Real cheap but excellent output. Best option as a first machine.
