I found this answer on another forum, becuase I was also corious about this: "No. The annealing process will be missing. Germans spend many days (Up to a full week!) playing with furnace temps during this process to lower the hardness of the alloy. You may be able to make a disk, but it will be way too hard to CNC mill with. You are paying for this process with each disk you buy. The actual metal is almost worthless. Throw it into trash. I do not think there is any scrap value and not possible to re-use yourself."
