This was MT A1
I put a higher value Dentin in the crosscut
This was BLD 1 which is like 1m1 range or lighter and put incisal over it.
Just wanted a brighter area. Not a white band but to get rid of the dead grey zone AND to help make 3 distinct areas.
Gin warmth A2 middle bright area and incisal
Can see it subtly

This is cut back from lingual.
All Dentin shade is the pressed core

I use matrix and draw it out
Takes about 5 min per unit to cut back.

Yes,it seems to help define the gingival shade. Same incisal as the rest?
I seem to be just getting single anteriors lately so I don't get to see that as often. Very grey incisals lately.

Monolithic.
Makes my life sooooo much easier.
I do a ton of veneers and haven't layered them in months.
Look how that bleach enamel ingot blends in at the margins!!

The LiSi press is denser not course like emax so I can carve in or scribe anatomy on facial and when glaze and if I rubber wheel afterwards I get such a nice surface finish

I used to hate veneers.
They were so much work but now a major profit area with better results than before and super fast

:Hello: Al you inspired me with my cutback today, here is my cad version, my pictures suck. Its almost like seeing the layering and translucency and also the support I want, from the scan of temps made from dx waxup. This will be final shade BL4/B1, so I think I will press LiSi MT B0 then layer with IN51/B1,CLF,EOP2 in horizontal groove, and 58/CLF/EOP1 mix final overlay. I dont normally cutback this much but Dr wants wow factor, I want no chipping. These are all veneers but #9.

Cool stuff, Affinity I am with you, we protect every incisal today and never come over the edge.

Have not seen any chips in quite some time.

We just did a 6 over 6 case with the B0 ingot yesterday, came out really nice.

Here is a comparison.
8 & 9 I made a year ago. Layered Emax.
6 & 7 and 10 & 11 seated yesterday.
Monolithic, Press and Glaze Enamal 58 LiSi Press (HT 58)
These ingots have given me lots of extra free time.

Pics at insert. Doc said he will send me better pis after tissue heals

What is the opacity level of the enamel ingots, is it comparable to HT, or MT ingots?

Nice Al. Ok, maybe sooner than later for trying lisi ingots. About half my people want the VOO-DOO I try to make with layered, in anterior at least. also, I'm still doing refractory work and only this year really started layering zirc so I could better matches to posteriors and do what I can't with pressed otherwise.

Are these HT- BO Al? Im pressing 6 now. I ended up doing a lot less cutback, I dont think it needs it. Do you use any blue or grey stain at the incisal edge before layering?
