To help clarify this further, the Pritimultidisc shade concept allows you to cover all 16 VITA classical® shades through only 7 different pritimultidisc ZrO2 multicolor discs. A bleach shade is also available. This concept helps you keep inventory low while producing great, convincing aesthetics. No staining or coloring needed.
The color map below shows which shades can be achieved by positioning the restoration in the blank at different levels.

Ive been quite on these, but...

Mill from the bottom 1/3 of D-light puck and get a D-4. Ill believe you. That's a yellow shade. Also works for a gray 3R1.5, another gray 4M1 or even an orange 4M2?

maybe he means it will just be easier to get your final shade because less staining needs to happen if its precoloured like this

      ?

however i too question the validity of making two shade systems out of a single puck.

3dprinted shade tab holder though. bonus points.

We refer to the VITA SHADE CONVERSION CHART for mapping the shades. With the priti®multidisc multicolor you can achieve the 16 VITA classical® shades and thus the corresponding shades of the VITA 3D-Master® according to the chart.

A few additional shades of the VITA 3D-Master® were referenced as they can be achieved easily by adding a little bit of color to the restoration. The pritidenta® color map is supposed to be a guideline.

Agreed. You may want to do a little coloring to achieve those additional shades of the VITA 3D-Master® and yes, the priti®multidisc multicolor is a great base to start with.

Of course the final outcome i.e. shade effect allways depends on the thickness of the restoration and the color of the stump, even more so with the highly translucent material.

Thanks for the bonus points for our 3D printed holder.

He's got 3 shades coming out of the A light puck. Better order a thick one. The Ceramill uses a 2 shaded puck system. They all come in 16mm and it works pretty well

For an optimal result I would recommend 18mm for the priti®multidisc multicolor unless the restoration requires more height, of course. The MPguide is milled from 18mm discs.

I wonder if anyone's been using this routinely? Haven't heard any feedback about this for awhile.
