4th/5th axis mock-up today. Nothing bolted up.

We are making yet another custom fixture to hold the trunnion sideways onto the table, without making a riser plate.

This set-up has no extra room anywhere! Soooo tight!

But, it will work. So far, so good.

Brake-boosters mounted near control cabinet.

Ever tried to stop a Semi with brakes from a 1992 Cavalier? Doesn't end well.

Because he's using a HAAS. Metal is cutting metal, weather it's for dental, automobile, aerospace. The machine doesn't care WHO it's cutting for. It just does what you tell it to do. And if you want it to be fast and accurate, then you need additional tools that make sense on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're trying to cut down on cycle time to get more production out of a tool per day, then more power to you Scotty! (Haha...get the pun...POWER!!)

Plus he's not the only one using INDUSTRIAL tools for cutting small metal objects for dental. It's the way of life in machining. Using big A$$ machines to cut small a$$ parts.
