When Im going to do designs, is there some way to always have the 'distance to' box always be there, rather than needing to elect it every time?

It could probably be configured to do that with a xml file tweak. I'm not around my machine right now to have a look.

Great idea Bob, and it should be up automatically.
Will ask my Exocad Support if that can be done/corrected.
Bet the guys at Exocad are the only ones to make that kind of change Hmmmm2

Exocad should give you 2 browny points for that idea. ;)

<AutoShowDistanceToAntagonists>true</AutoShowDistanceToAntagonists>

This can be added to the default settings xml file. You will have to experiment where exactly to put it in the list.
Maybe @biodentg can tell you where it goes.

file path is C:/exocad/dentalCADApp/config/defaultsettings

Yes, I was able to delete the wizard, too much trouble and boring to always follow the yellow brick road.
The DistanceToAntagonist I will try it out tomorrow, it is a pain to turn it on every time.

It does bring up the distance window, however it does not update the coloring from the get go, having to click to expand the window then uncheck and check the Dist. to antagonist checkbox to do so...making it more cumbersome to use.

Just for reference, where does it go in the xml?

It goes inside the <ApplicationSettingsProviderCAD> element, IIRC...I'll check tomorrow at work...
