I am wondering if anyone could help ID this implant? I have an acct. that sent in one side of a 2 unit bdg he cut off. The implant has v-shaped threads on the outside and a hole at the bottom. There are 2 cutting flutes also at the bottom. The top has a cylindrical collar that is 1mm high and the platform looks to be 3.5mm. The in side of this implant is also threaded for what looks like a prepable abutment that would screw in and then the crown is cemented to it. he wants us to redo the single implant that didn't fail. I cannot seem to find the abut., as I am unsure of manufacturer. It looks like it might have been the first generation of stock abut.'s and cementable crowns. I believe it is about 15yrs. + old. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you could take a photo of the mating surface, that would be helpful.
The abutment looks similar to the old Branemark or Screwvent systems.

This link has some illustrations of some older systems:

Good luck
