Hey guys,

I have a doc who was using the DDX to send us STL files for digital work. He has dropped DDX and still wants to send us files via drop box, but doesn't know how to navigate to the folder containing the STL files. I don't know if that's even and option for him, its been a long time since I was around an e4d scanner. He has the option of using romexis to export I believe if there is no other way..

Use file explorer. Here's the path:
E4DUser/AppData/local/temp/cadcamtemp/patients/
All of the patients are numbered. If you click the number in the tree the patient name shows, inside of this is a file with a time stamp.
Open and find all of the native file types along with the .stl and .obj files and the xml file for direct import into exocad and others
as well as the 3oxz and xml files for 3shape import.

The few files from E4D I've seen have a lot of 'static' in the scan and aren't very usable but maybe you have more luck than me with it

they've gotten better. Actually what is more scary is that the file decimation seems extremely aggressive
