skimmed the thread a bit more. Look it's ultimately up to you if you want to give a 5-10% discount. I would say 6 month trial with "X" amount of work coming in and then auto active that discount.

If he really likes your work and it's not just a line they use to get an early discount he won't mind.

Typically this weeds out the serious inquiries vs ppl trying to **** you around.
