Hello to all!

I recived some parameters from a friend of mine from Sweden. He's using a 3Shape scanner with Dental Designer software.

He said the zirconia will be fine if i'll using this paramters:

Cement gap .025
Extra cement gap .050
Distance 1.00
Smoothing .20

Wall thikness .50
Wall height 1.00
Margin line offset .100
Offset angle 65
Extension offset .100

What is your opinion?

Can you give me correct parameters for PMMA or wax? It will be necessary!

Thank you

Lorant

75 micron spacer is quite a lot.

We use 40uM (20um + 20um) for most preps, and down to 0 for very convergent axial wall preps. (pyramid prep shape)

If you are casting non-precious metal, then maybe 75um is good? (pmma, rapid-prototype) No extra margin needed for metal of course. (safty margin, or margin offset, or whatever you call it)

If designing wax for pressing, I really have no idea? Maybe a eMax-head could chime in on thoughts about cement spacer and margin angle/offset.
