If you complain loud and often enough you can usually get the fees knocked down some. Also, some of the "perk" cards your Dr. may use (points, miles, etc.) will cost YOU more to process than just the regular cards.

I think I posted this once before regarding CC's. I have one doc who loves his Amex points. He is willing to pay the differential as a line item on his monthly statement to use that card. I guess he knows what he wants.
