We have a DR sending us Cerec scans with an Atlantis Scan Body. In order to produce a Printed Model using 3shape Atlantis sends us a "core" file which has the arch as well as the designed abutment. HOWEVER the abutment is Ditched which makes it incredibly frustrating to take this through model builder and design the model.

Has anyone experimented with this yet?

Thanks

in your dental manager, import the 3oxz case as 3shape communicate order exchange. you should be able to make models once its imported.

the raw stl data will be little use to you unless you have other mesh software or a lot of free time to **** around with it.

Core files are the designed abutments printed as a die in the model. The files can then be imported into 3Shape that you can design the crowns to mill before you receive the models from a company that you order them from.
