Depends on whether you like PHP or Perl.

Seriously, 'color correct' around 5500-6500K and CRI over 90 is ideal.
After that it's what form you feel most effective using.

Edit: The import ants of proofreading.

Ott lights are pretty standard and cheap.

Man this thread went off track in a hurry to be a Tuesday.

For the question, I use a Dazor 3 bulb with color correct tubes. If measures in the 5200K with a CRI of 92. I use my old (very old) photometer to check monthly to make sure I change the bulbs when they weaken. I plane to change to a Waldmann LED when the ballast blow on the ones I currently have. Ballast usually last 2-3 years of heavy use.

best tubes
Philips 32w TL90 ceilin tpe 5000K 98% CRI the best tube on planet
Osram PLL36w/954 > 94% CRI
Osram PLL55w/954 >94% CRI
find lamp that can fit those tubes and you will have best on market lamp
NO recommendation on LED There is in Kelvins 5000-6000
There is no LED light in ratio high CRI combined with 5-5,5k kelvin chip on pocket and is still in experiment
The LED light reflect light differently than Fluorescent.
MY opinion will be to buy standard fit bulb from Yuji high CRI LED 5000-5500k with remote phosphor no more than that
It might cost you 100$ for bulb.

LED makes more GLARE than other
People don't recognize at beginning because are supersized with different but don't recognize upcoming problem
Before buying first compare, you will see.
Just simply take your shade samples and look under different type of light and focus on glare light reflection which can hurt your eye.
And CRI is under 90%
that's is to low.
