Authorize.net or BB&T CC Processor - Any experiences to share?

My invoicing program has the hooks for Authorize.net baked in, so they look about like normal and work with real banks instead of whatever paypal calls themselves. They are the processor for BB&T as well. I know nothing about that bank other than it exists. So I'm thinking of maybe going with that to have one less thing to keep up with.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with using them.

I should state that I never got to talk with anyone at authorize.net. They could actually be marvelous for all I know.
