Good Morning DLN!
Wanted to post a picture of a crown made in Alien Solid Zirconia Pre-Shaded Blank.

We added Stain and Glaze on the crown.

Good morning to you, too :) The crown looks so pretty, so brochure photogenic. Do you have a photo in a little rawer form, a little more down and dirty for us techs, like the crown next to a shade tab?

Thanks :)

He had to go back to the mothership to pick up more zirconia, and re-shoot the photo in a weightless environment...please stand by.

Im gonna knock you right between the eyes...

No color gradiation, no incisal coloring/transluceny.

Out of focus, over exposed pics.

Poor anatomy. Huge distal buccal cusp/ small mesial buccal cusp.

Pin point mesial contact, open embrasures.

Might be a decent product, but this isn't going to sell it.

Im not trying to be a d!ck, just sharing what I see.

Our Blocks are monochromatic. Incisal effects are added during stain.

Out of focus, over exposed pics.

I took a quick shot of a real case model as requested by other users.

Poor anatomy. Huge distal buccal cusp/ small mesial buccal cusp.

I agree with you here, the design could have been better. This is definitely not a crown for high end dentistry. This works for 99% of Americans, but definitely not the 1% ;). All jokes aside, if the shade matches, occlusion is low, contacts are on point, 99% of the time, doctors don't complain about anatomy.

Pin point mesial contact, open embrasures.

See above

Might be a decent product, but this isn't going to sell it.

I beg to differ

Im not trying to be a d!ck, just sharing what I see.

I appreciate honest feedback. Only makes us better.

Thank you

Mono and expected to stain enamel coloring on FCZ from a milling labs in 2016 ? in what world ;) Who would
except milled crowns like that ? Apparently its only about the $$$
Don't mean to knock a good Sponsor, but I would like to believe average dln members are above this kind of restoration. Hmmmm2
Maybe I'm the one living on another planet ?

fyi only takes seconds to paint on enamel coloring using the fast dip coloring technique.

Edit: Really don't like saying this and maybe my post will be edited for obvious reasons.
I think this kind of advertising hurts DLN... If I'm wrong, so be it.....I feel like I'm on
Dentaltown, and DT members will know exactly what I mean...........

We do offer stain and glaze services, but I do see your point. That's why we are a sponsor here, for valuable feedback and to better ourselves.
