The fact is, nobody has used sagemax multi yet.. so its all heresay. The only thing that matters to me is will it sell.. if a Dr cracks crowns when seating, they are very unlikely to use it again.. Im tired of all the translucency talk.. Just because a company hypes a new product doesnt mean its any good.

Also, on a side note, Ive said before that I was frustrated with AG support, but Ive since been contacted by Ramon at AG and he has been super friendly and helpful and is setting up my match2 and exocad upgrades on MY computer.. not one purchased from Amann. Kudos!Ciao

Where is everyone getting burs for the Motion 2 5x?

We just got the system and so far everything has been great.

I was able to change the default milling center to the motion 5x so I don't have to change it every time. If anyone is interested I could post how it's done.

Has anyone had any mixed experiences using this party materials?

Sagemax burs are great, I think around $80-88 for diamond coated burs.. My experience with using sagemax for over 2 years now has been great.

Not sure when the multilayered comes out Lucky!

Just call them, they will take care of you. The compatibility between the Motion and Sagemax is perfect. Scaling is perfect, product is consistent, no chipping, easy to work with.

I would be very pleased if you shared this information.
Called the helpdesk today to hear it can not be changed.

I was told as well it wasn't possible since almost everyone sends to the m-center.

Back up the file before you modify it in case you have to restore the settings at a later moment

1) Go to: C:\Program Files\Ceramill Software\DB\config

2) Open file filter.xml

3) Add this line under the system (milling machine) that you're using:

Code:
<IsDefault>true</IsDefault>

4) The m-center has 2 lines like that say true. Change both to false.

Code:
<Keyword>M-Center</Keyword>
      <IsDefault>false</IsDefault>
      <Regexp>.*</Regexp>
      <IsDefault>false</IsDefault>

5) Save and exit.

6) Close all programs related to AG and reopen. Your Motion should be default now.

Any comments or experiences?

I have used a different company PMMA but the crowns I've milled don't fit. I milled the same in AG TEMP and it fits perfect with no adjustment needed.

I'm guessing the densities or something is different. Unfortunately the strategies can't get changed to be able to compensate for this.

there are many others if you have the 98 holder you can take all that are on the market

Yes thats right but you can correct the parameters to their own experience.
You probably are looking the best blank to save money.
when the crowns are too tight adjusting the x / y axis
if they are too far as well. Make a few individual crowns and test it out.
then you have your values with which you are satisfied.
