Never heard of it, if it is too thick it would probably make problems like other silicone. Heat needs to get to the acrylic evenly.

Don't know that specific product, but I familiar with elastomerics in flashing.
I find their use problematic in other areas.
For instance, tooth migration, or the tendency for some materials to pull away from the second pour and create odd voids that show up after process, or how if you floss out interproximals you get material wedged in the space that become impossible to remove...
I just prefer a good pour stone.

I was looking at it for insulation when flasking Flexite and ItSoClear clasps.

Flow stone is excellent or a little old school is to vacuum mix your second pour. 50/50 stone and plaster.
