Acetal pucks

Ive been asked to mill frames out of acetal
what pucks should i be researching, and who has them?!?

Schein sells them as Zirlux Acetal

The material mills beautifully. Comes in several shades, stronger than PMMA, is a little flexible. Can be used for bite splints, partial denture frames temps and snap-on smiles. Although it's kind of opaque.
Use your PMMA stratergies.

Yes it is. I think there are probably a lot of possibilities for this new material.

We use it here for flippers, very nice stuff. Limited shades, there is no A3 which is a little mind blowing

GC Opti Glaze & shading kit worked very well in this material, really helps to expands the shade range available in the pucks IMHO

As much as I hate HS I have to admit this Zirlux acetal mills great. Here is a mock up we did this week. Sure they are glorified halloween teeth but for mock ups and other types of diagnostic work I see some real value.
