Hello!

I should be a getting a form 2 printer tomorrow, can't wait!

I've followed all the videos on youtube for using meshmixer to make models from STLs. I use 3shape, but I simply can't imagine giving them that much money for Model Builder. So far I've used the zipper tool to connect the die to the rest of the model in an iTero scan, and the extruder to make a base. I don't think I'll bother with a pinned model at all.

However I don't know how I will make implant models with DIM analogs without Model Builder. Is it possible? Is there a cheaper option? I have to supply my dentists with scanbodies too I guess. Can I just send them the NT trading ones and sync them in 3shape like I would with an analog model? But how to print the model itself is a mystery...

While I'm at it, anyone have an stl, or any suggestion on how to place a iTero mounting hinge on an stl with meshmixer? Ideally so I could preserve the bite reg.

Thanks so much, this forum has been invaluable to me.
