    Cerec Acquisition --> 3Shape Design

    No matter which way you do it you're going to have to mark the margins in 3Shape. It has never transferred over the marked margins from any other software. Just export them from Sirona as STL files and create a new order form in 3Shape.

    Best milling program?

    It probably isn't the software it's probably the computer. As software evolves and gets better and better, it takes stronger processing power to run them effectively. Just my 2 cents.

    Gap between Tibase and crown??

    Contact your CAM support. Let them know the exact issue that is going on. It could be a milling strategy, incorrect tool size, etc. Also contact the Ti base manufacturer and ask them what are the preferred sized tools they designed the inner surface of the ti bases with so you can let your...

    Anyone see this with biohorizons abutments?

    There are no welds on milled parts. They are a solid one piece part. We do not know all of the information on the part originally discussed/shown. It appears to be a UCLA abutment that was cast. The bevel where the abutment seats onto the implant appears to be polished off as well. (This...

    Anyone see this with biohorizons abutments?

    Not from what I understand from what I've heard. The mill the entire abutment at once (top cap all the way to the interface). Not like purchasing pre-milled blanks with the interface already manufactured on it. This is unverified information though. Just from what I've heard. Please take...

    Anyone see this with biohorizons abutments?

    This appears to have been a UCLA abutment by the image. Contact your BioHorizons rep and they can help facilitate a complaint case for you. They case reimburse you for the cost of the UCLA abutment and you can order a new milled on from Vulcan.

    Anyone see this with biohorizons abutments?

    Correct, Atlantis does not use blanks with premilled interfaces. They mill on horizontal machines out of rod stock. They mill the top and the interface there at Atlantis.

    Anyone see this with biohorizons abutments?

    Did you contact Atlantis about the issue? This would be their complaint since it's their product not BioHorizons.
