@ Seva P, didn`t say that V7 software by vhf is better than DS, but a huge step forward to V6 version. It depends on what you need and what you want( to pay for ).

Go for the V7 software and you will be happy. Up and down as also rotation on a/b -axis is possible 👍

Just do the modellin Sirona modelmaker and it works. Modellmaker is part of Inlab Cad 18 and later. I have 2 seats of SW in offer if needed. For more information give me a pm.

Nothing has changed. You have to use Sirona SW for scanning only direct importing including patient data. Laugh😂😂

Z-axis is out of high! Do plane the touchplate and calibrate again and it will work perfect again. regards Tom

@ rookiee, look inside a roland and a vhf, you will see the differnce! It depends on what you are using for. If you mill a lot of monolitic zirkon a 4axis is a workhorse, belive me. I do 805 4 axis milling on my 5 axis mills because it´s faster and you don`t need 5 ax milling if you do correct...

INlab Cad works if you do construction of your *stl scans in Inlab Cad15. For monly milling cdt-converter is the only way,than milling in Inlab Vers 3.xx .

Shape is very good, but I never do single front on a TI abutment. Don`t wanna have this trouble. I only go on Zi with Ti-base and this is trouble enough. just my 2 cent

Hi Ecdentaldesign, the X5 scanner should always been open. Here in Germany we had the import exportmodule with it. So you can export *stlfiles to where ever you want. this files you can import to exocad and design in it. i did it also for a short period befor buying a smart optics. You couldn`t...

best to ask your dealer. You should have a key. Licence should be by smart optics for this scanner

This is the file types I can import into my 3Shape. Does this mean I don't need the stls? Try it and you know it

Yes you can get files via Cerec Connect. But to import *stl-files you need Import/ Export module.

If margins are fine the spindle can`t be the fault. Check you places of the burrs!!

Did you clean the collet?
