I have Roland issue and need advice

Warranty covers shipment one way, so even if it is $350 to $500 for a milling machine one way that's all the customer would have to pay. @rc75 you can't compare something of lower value (lower insurance cost) with lower weight/size to shipping a milling machine, I know your trying to help but...

I have Roland issue and need advice

Freight is a bit different than shipping a disc of zirconia through UPS... Lift gates, pallet jacks, scheduled deliveries, hundreds of pounds, insurance, ect. That being said shipping a Roland mill one way typically costs $350 to $500 bucks so $1,000 is not a "Crazy number". But I'm certain my...

I have Roland issue and need advice

Warranty should cover shipping back to the customer, customer is liable for shipping the mill in for repair. That being said $1,000 seems high... Who at CAP is giving you this price? I can look into it.

    Offset milling Roland DWX-50

You should really only tighten the wires as a last option, there are many many other things it could be. My team just told me the wires should really go 4,000 hours before they even need to be touched. Most labs do about 1,000 hours a year, so every four years? In this specific case @technician...

    Offset milling Roland DWX-50

It's really best done by a certified Roland repair person. I've never personally done it but I've seen a bunch of them done. I think there is a big difference between simply tensioning them and replacing them. Give CAP a call and ask for someone in the service/repair department (Jason or Pete)...

    Offset milling Roland DWX-50

You need to do an advanced calibration of the machine. Your Roland reseller can help do this. Most of the time you can make some small changes in calibration and get by without a wire tensioning, depending on the environment the machine and its age of course. Our oldest Roland DWX-50 in our...

    CAP sum3D, not very smart

I'm not a Sum3D expert but it sounds like the finishing tool doesn't know the excess material is in the way, it's a bug. We are looking into a similar bug with another customer that might give us a clue, it might be Sum3D version or strategy change that might fix this specific problem. We should...

Hello everyone, We certainly have some blame to take on this and for that we are sorry. To answer @RCKSTR our team has remained the same and actually grown since Uncle Hank came onto the scene. For Sam @prestige.dental specifically, things have not gone smoothly I must admit. Honestly, prior to...
