We charge a flat rate .... Digital Model $20 each ..... quadrant or full arch..... we want to inspire the user to provide more arch data. If we have to get a milled iTero model, same fee, our cost is also covered. NOBODY has ever complained. Seems to be a fair balance.
I’d like to scan an abutment and remill it in acetyl resin. The scan using Copy Denture comes out all smoothed out and loose mesh. Any ideas how to get a nice tight mesh for milling ? Thx .
Have the patient sign off and authorize the white shade selection before you fabricate. I've had a few cases remade cause the husband went nuts that their wifes teeth were too white and wanted them redone.
We use Talladium's pressing wax for injecting. Works great. Always make sure your matrix seats absolutely perfect onto the cast you are injecting onto. If not, bigtime flaw.
After switching to shaded discs from the hand-staining technique, we noticed a significant increase in chipping at margins and the odd fracture. Has anyone had same thing? Should there be a change in milling speeds ? Thank you
stick to layering...... been down that road with my staff and have concluded that it is faster and more efficient to just do a monolithic or 2 powder build up for PFM or PFZr
This patient really needs to be evaluated for OSA(Obstructive Sleep Apnea). Tori are a major flag for OSA. Designing proper teeth for daytime use looking good as mentioned; however, special planning required for airway management thru the night could save a life.
Fellow Bruins fan..... we've been down the Press to Metal road long and hard. IMO, for those simple posteriors you are trying to systemize, just stick with the simple 2 powder build up or just build up monolithic(75% dentin, 25% enamel). When you have crazy preps and thicknesses of metal to...
Hi CAD/CAMers, we are expanding our milling capacity. Adding 2 milling machines and additional scanner. The primary goal is to integrate milled wax frames for pfm's, eMax and gold crowns. So, my question is.... What is a reasonable volume of units to scan and mill by noon or 1 oclock so they...
