Alum wash needed possibly. Potassium Aluminium Sulphate. (Not all Gels can be used without a wash). A solution needs to be made up and stored for the purpose. In my experience it's best to have this made up ahead...
My query was aimed at the use of Duraflex, is this what you're referring to? I'm satisfied with the bonding of other materials like valplast for example, but not satisfied with the results obtained trying to add to Duraflex, I sometimes wonder if I'd be faster making a new appliance.
yep, and also think about the likely charges from a c&b lab for a 12 unit full arch metal frame (not inc' metal costs, unpolished too) with no silicon duplication technique & prep. Chrome labs should be much more highly valued, the workload, difficulty, and mess has a huge impact.
IMO doing your own labwork is CRAZY! I'd recommend doing what you do best, and pay the labguys to do the tech stuff.
Also, communicate as much as possible and use all appropriate media to assist, and spend time with the lab techs to improve teamworking skills. Study clubs and tech symposiums...
Thanks for the comments, really interesting. Can you provide links or details of the guidance for your system please, thanks. PM if better for you. We are experiencing a lot of change currently and there are many concerns that need addressing thoroughly & professionally for better future.

In a few years time we'll be printing dentures. They're already being made in R&D, but materials need further testing, refinement, and regulatory approval, and hardware & software systems refined. It's coming!
Got some feedback today from our distributor, I sent them the denture to examine and to provide a formal written response. Their opinion is that the denture is affected by brushing abrasion primarily, then perhaps a small degree of secondary abrasion from the patients chosen foodstuff -...
