Osteoready is a zimmer internal hex 3.5 platform. - same as zimmer- here is a link to the parts DESS USA has for zimmer 3.5- if you are in the USA - https://www.dess-usa.com/compatibilities/zimmer-internal-hex/?_bc_fsnf=1&Platform+Size=3.5
The dentist is not above the law nor makes the laws when it comes to usage of any part that goes into the mouth. Any part that goes into the mouth for more than 30 minutes requires FDA, regardless of if from a dental lab or a dentist office. Jonathan and Rosen are doing the same thing - making...
I would not use any screw as a final to zirconia direct to a MUA. Use a straight vertical wall tibase. These claims are completely unproven and unsubstantiated. This is why we go through stress and fatigue testing on parts such as tibases and for a "system" such as a screw going into zirconia...
In the USA if you are going to claim you are compatible with an implant system that you have to submit all the measurements, testing documents showing cross compatibility to the FDA and then the 510K will state this. This is why you will see implant company websites that no longer mention...
Here is the testing done for stress and fatigue- 11mm tall by 5mm wide zirconia placed at 30 degree angled and pushed 5 million times at 300ncm - The perception and marketing hype is taller chimney = greater bond retention and stronger and the tooth will not break right around the top of the...
Here is a document regarding the differences between zimmer and biohorizons - https://dess-usa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4402857001236-What-is-the-difference-between-the-Zimmer-compatible-and-BioHorizons-compatible-connection-and-design-
the issue with ALL tapered wall tibases is a weaker bond retention. This is mechanical engineering 101. All you need is a 5 degree tapered wall and you decrease the bond retention by 68%. This is a test we did- following the same protocals for ISO 14801 stress and fatigue testing which is...
Zahn was selling glidewell's tibases. Zimmer has two different screws so whoever created this could have used either the zimmer urs2 screw which has a 2.30mm head diameter or Zimmer screw MHLAS which has a 1.95mm screw head. The corresponding screws from DESS are 19.012 for urs2 and 19.042 for...
You can use the DESS straight tibases with different gingival heights and then use the angle screw channel screw. You will probably have to cut down the chimney possibly but this is another solution and all our tibases have vertical walls for maximum bond retention.
The Astra EV multibase top is the same as Nobel MUA (and several others including biohorizons, neodent, 3i, etc). DESS has several solutions to help you that will enable you to scan on top of those MUA and then choose either tibase or direct to MUA solutions (for both temporary and final) ...
email me so we can continue the discussions and I can check if the info is correct as well - [email protected] i noticed for example the BXL connection it states bone level is similar - it may be similar but it is not compatible with one another, the same with hiossen is not compatible with...
The biohorizons and zimmer connection and screws are different. We make parts for both. Please see this link which will elaborate on the differences...
The Zimmer MUA has a proprietary top that is different than others. All of these MUA's have the same 4.8mmD top-
Nobel, BioHorizons, 3i,Megagen, Hiossen, Neodent, BSB, Astra EV Multibase, and DESS Multiunits.
Zimmer, MIS, Straumann, and Implant Direct have all proprietary tops.
DESS USA has two libraries (for both exocad and 3shape) that enable you to got direct to the MUA without a tibase.....However we do not recommend doing this with zirconia. The libraries are on our website. One is using the DESS Multidirect library using the normal small screw that screws on top...
I would look at your cam strategy and ensure it is milling the holes properly. If you need help and are in the USA please contact us at [email protected] however I would talk to your CAM support first since they can help determine this quite quickly.
please let me know if we can help you with this....if you are referring to implant connections as in the platform and being compatible I have an extensive list and can help ensure that your information is correct. My email is [email protected].
DESS only has final screws. In the USA the website is www.dess-usa.com and click on DESS PRODUCTS then Screws.https://www.dess-usa.com/screws/ The price is $13 for a screw and we also have 10 packs of several of them for $90. All the screws we make are for the original implants, abutments...
