Just an observation and question.
Why don't you drop a bicuspid instead of the molar?
Dropping the bicuspid and adding the second molar also reduces the length distally and provides a larger surface area for mastication as well as better wear resistance.
Nice work by the way.....:Top:

You are right. Honestly didn't even cross my mind:banghead: I will talk to the Dr and change it. Thanks!

May have something to do with where the abutment is located...

Where did you get the magnifying light?
Search for
Naturalight™ 3-Diopter Illuminated Magnifier with 7" Lens
The last one I ordered from Home Depot on line.

IMG_0639.JPG IMG_0641.JPG IMG_0643.JPG IMG_0646.JPG This is a Bourke bar with mk1. At this point hardware is all done, and I'm using the matrix to retrofit the set up.
Never worked with the attachments before, but they're pretty simple at this stage.

IMG_0648.JPG IMG_0653.JPG IMG_0654.JPG IMG_0655.JPG IMG_0656.JPG So I had a light box sitting in storage that I brought in to the lab. The following are from iPhone, cropped, with just controlled lighting.
Cases are just bread and butter.
One is a wax trial remounted for reset. It was the first thing I shot, after firing up the lights in like four years.
The cropped ones are a trial denture for 6 fixture hybrid. Screw retained LC base. This was second set up; first bite translated about a millimeter left.
Dr mounted the conversion and sent along a matrix key to master cast. Piece o' cake
