Stop being a sissy la-la Kent...we like the snow :)

I love the cold too, but I've never really experienced it like you guys have.

Well, maybe this past year I did...

Snowpocalypse of 2014 Birmingham. We never would have thought it could have

been that bad. We don't have snow plows and salt trucks like you guys have and

it shows here! Haha.

Wow!!! What a crazy picture, but I can't help to ask where is the snow? We wouldn't even consider that a dusting...lol It's funny you mention that though because I have some southern clients and they are always calling me getting snow and ice reports from me. They state that if the temperature drops below 32 degrees everyone freeaks out!!! They can't understand how we in the north deal with it, but I try to explain to them we are use to it, plus we take part in it...ice fishing, snowmobiling, sledding etc.

It snowed the day before and melted and then dropped to like 7 degrees that night...so everything

iced over. So, when everyone tried to go to work and go home, craziness!! I spent

the night sleeping on a hard floor in my hunting bibs and jacket with another jacket

balled up as a pillow. Worst night of sleep ever!

dental cad technically speaking is already developed to the point that no engineering needs to happen to create your tooth. every other CAD program lets you begin designing a finished product from blank space and a string of lines. in that regard CAD as taught in any college level CNC trade program would have more CAD training than Dental CAD which would encompass less CAD and more dental.

even dental CAM is dumbed down so much and void of any real CAM engineering. if it were more complex it would not be so easily adopted.

We surly need more application engineers to work in the front line in order to create what we need instead of what is given to us from the OEM. The two objectives might not be consistent. In order to advance the field or to solve clinical problems, we must have people with "higher engineering capabilities" in order to communicate or innovate for clinical solutions.

I completely agree. This goes to the very foundation of our company. For us there are no objective conflicts. Finding the right people has always been the challenge...
